Leaving a mark....
I decided that relationships in life are like a revolving door. People come and go but one thing remains the same; they leave a mark on my life.

Some leave good marks while others leave not so good ones. The marks left by others are things like teaching me to be more tolerant and less judgemental of others, to be more accepting of others values and views and to think before I speak. Those are just some examples. One friend has been showing me a love of our Church. She always wants what is best for our church is service and giving. I have another friend that travels alot, sometimes bringing back such interesting gifts but more than the gift it is always interesting to hear of her travels since I really don't like to travel. And lately blogs have become 'a sort of friend' leaving marks on my heart and my mind.

The mark I would like to leave on others is to be a positive influence. One such person comes to mind; she was a very sweet young girl who did not have much self confidence. Outwardly you would think she did but any kind of remark would cause her to retreat her stance and withdraw. We were friends for about 2 years and I witnessed her grow and become confident. She was able to take a stance and not back down. We drifted apart as our lives grew in different directions. I was always hopeful that she considered my mark a positive one. Another friend has told me that the influence I have had on her is that she now has black accessories in her home! (I am still working on you L!)

Leave a good mark on the lives you touch today!
