I am so excited! On Saturday I am going to "Tantalizing Tables 2009." The is an annual event hosted the The Women's Council for West Texas A & M University in Canyon, Texas. The theme is "Beyond Expectations."

Each year we go to the event mainly for the Walk through. A friend has told me that copying is the biggest form of flattery! Well they needed to be flattered because I have been known to copy several of the displayed ideas.

One that I have seen but not used is a creative idea for a rug-with-a-twist! Buy a cheap piece of linoleum (doesn't matter what it looks like) flip it over and paint whatever your heart desires! Another that I intend to use if I get the nerve to put a hook in my new ceiling, is to work a monkey into a chandelier with Christmas decorations (I love monkeys!) I have been shopping far and wide for a ceramic monkey that I saw at the event a couple of years ago.
